Dr. Sherrill Blodget, a music professor at VTSU Castleton, reached out to our class with a need for promotional materials for upcoming campus music events. One of the projects was a collaborative performance of Mozart's Requiem featuring the VTSU Castleton Chorale, UVM's Concert Choir and Catamount Singers, the Rutland Area Chorus, and the Grace Festival Orchestra.
After reviewing historical and modern poster design inspiration, I aimed to create a piece that incorporated classical typographic and visual elements with a contemporary, clean aesthetic, reflecting the emotional weight and timelessness of the music while keeping it accessible and striking to a modern audience.
