Great Harvest Bread Co. Values Poster

April 2026 // Client Work

After THE REST STOP closed for the season back in October of 2025, I still hadn't found a job. Having been applying to graphic design jobs ever since I graduated earlier that year in May, I was incredibly discouraged, and was just looking for something to hold me over until my next big thing. Luckily, I found a gig at Great Harvest Bread Co. in Burlington, VT as a baker! I love baking, so this seemed like the perfect opportunity to learn more and gain more skills for one of my other passions!

My boss knew I was a graphic designer, and we had talked a handful of times about me doing various projects, but none ever came to fruition. However, in March of 2026, the employee handbook was created, and my boss asked me if I could make a poster with the core values of the company from said handbook on them. While things were a bit hectic throughout March for various reasons, I finally got around to making some mockups for my boss in early April, and after a couple weeks, we settled on a finalized version!

While the Burlington VT location of Great Harvest Bread is a freedom franchise, meaning they are loosely tied to the greater brand, I wanted to incorporate the brand assets into the poster. The font was used for all of the bread signage up front, and so is the border, where I took a photo of it and image traced it in Illustrator, using that to make it cohesive with the rest of the branding. My boss had a plenty of photos for me to look through for the background, we decided something that encapsulates the entirety of the brand as opposed to one specific compenent would make sense, which is how we decided on a photo of the building! There was a couple to choose from, but the pop of color from the flowers really sold the look to us.

I am incredibly honored to be able to create something like this for a place that I spent so much time at for the 6 months I was there for. This feels like a very poetic close to my time at Great Harvest Bread, allowing me to leave something behind.
