This Calendar Shouldn't Exist

And yet here it is. An entire year's worth of exaggerated, overdone, and purposefully horrendous image edits. What started as a joke became a fully realized project, where no design rule was safe and no idea was “too much.” Every page is its own mess, from a Brat-inspired cover ripoff to a page dedicated to AI-generated “art.”

This calendar isn't meant to be perfect. In fact, the goal was the exact opposite. The images are chaotic on purpose, the themes range from absurd to aggressively niche, and the editing? It's either way too much or nowhere near enough. And that's exactly what makes it fun. It's a parody, a satire, and a little bit of a love letter to doing things your way, even when it makes no sense at all.

Creating this gave me space to experiment freely with layout, photography, typography, and tone, all without worrying about being clean, minimal, or even “good.” It's a project that leans into being bad to remind me why I love designing in the first place: because it can be silly, expressive, and completely unhinged, all while still feeling like something worth making.
