April 2025 // Personal
This project began as a bit of a class joke, honestly. In a conversation with my advisor and professor, Bill DeForest, and a few classmates, we were talking about how the Color Theory course was only available online through the Lyndon campus. Nobody was thrilled about taking it remotely, which got Bill thinking about possibly offering it here in person during the spring of 2026.
Since we were in our special topics course focused on posters and promotional material, some of us decided to run with the idea and make mockups for a hypothetical in-person version of the course. What started as a fun “what if?” turned into a real design exercise.
Through several iterations and critiques, I developed this series of poster concepts. The final versions explore overlapping compositions and modular design, something Bill really encouraged, suggesting that the posters could actually interact with each other visually when placed side by side. That's why you'll see a few different versions here, each playing with layout and connection in its own way.
