Dead By Daylight Poster Collection

Dead by Daylight is, well, one of the games of all time. Initially, I wasn't into this genre, but my friends encouraged me to try it. At first, I hated it! However, after playing more, it became tolerable, and I don't even hate it that much anymore (though I might not admit that out loud). Playing as Killer, rather than Survivor, made the game more enjoyable for me. For those unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical horror game where one Killer tries to stop four Survivors from escaping. Over time, due to balancing changes, Killers have become more powerful, making it easier for them to "win."

One aspect I appreciate about the game is the design of (most of) their original Killers. I was particularly intrigued by the Plague, as I hadn't encountered her before, so I unlocked her in-game to try her out.

During this period, I was inspired by various poster design styles I encountered on Instagram and Pinterest. Eager to practice these unique styles, I decided to create a poster featuring the Plague. After sharing it with my friends and receiving positive feedback, I asked if there were any characters they'd like to see depicted. They suggested the Spirit and the Trickster. To round out the collection, I added the Singularity, my favorite character design-wise.

Each poster incorporates in-game screen captures of the characters, whether from player perspectives, lore tabs, or gameplay trailers. I included subtle details referencing the characters, such as the chapters they debuted in or flavor text from add-ons. I aimed to capture the essence of each character: the Trickster's poster resembles a magazine cover, while the Spirit's features worn, ancient paper to reflect ancestry.
