Doggie Dayzzz was developed as part of a UX design project focused on creating a mobile-first website experience for a family-owned doggie daycare. The company offers three core services — daycare, overnight boarding, and grooming. My goal was to design a site that would feel just as welcoming and trustworthy as the people behind it.
While the website isn't fully coded, I built a detailed prototype that showcases the intended structure and user experience. From wireframes to interactive mockups, I worked through each stage of the design process with the end user in mind: pet owners who want peace of mind and a simple way to care for their dogs.
The site allows users to create an account, add profiles for their dogs, and make reservations directly from their phones. I focused on streamlining the flow so that booking services felt fast, intuitive, and stress-free. There's also a page that updates daily with photos of the dogs in care, offering a fun, personal way for pet parents to check in throughout the day.
Visually, the site uses a clean and friendly aesthetic with soft colors and simple icons to keep the interface approachable. The navigation is minimal and mobile-optimized, giving users quick access to prices, availability, and contact information without ever feeling overwhelmed.
Designing Doggie Dayzzz challenged me to think deeply about how users interact with service-based websites, especially when it involves something as personal as their pets. It also gave me the chance to explore how thoughtful design can build trust and create a more enjoyable experience for both people and their four-legged family members.
