In the spring of 2024, the Quimbly Gallery at VTSU Lyndon hosted a 6x6 gallery event, inviting participants to create and display artwork measuring 6 inches by 6 inches. Inspired by the horror game franchise Five Nights at Freddy's, which a friend had recently introduced me to, I decided to create a piece featuring characters from the game.
My goal for this piece was to create something cute and whimsical, even though the characters I was drawing were originally designed to be quite eerie. I wanted to put my own spin on them, making them feel more playful and fun rather than their typical unsettling appearance.
The artwork was displayed at the gallery, contributing to the diverse collection of interpretations and expressions showcased during the event.
