February 2025 // Personal
During my final semester at Vermont State University Castleton, I embarked on a personal project to redesign some of the posters I encountered around campus. While I had ambitious plans, time constraints from coursework and commitments with Content Lab limited me to just one: a poster for VTSUnity, our campus's LGBTQ+ Club.
The original poster I saw early in the semester lacked visual engagement, which I felt was a missed opportunity for a club dedicated to inclusivity and community. Without consulting the club - this was purely a personal endeavor - I retained all the existing information but reimagined the design to be more vibrant and eye-catching. My goal was to create a piece that not only conveyed the necessary details but also reflected the energy and openness of VTSUnity.
This project, though small, allowed me to exercise creative freedom and apply my design skills to enhance campus communication. It reinforced my belief in the power of thoughtful design to foster connection and inclusivity within a community.
